About eight years ago, I bought my first horse from Kimberly. Kimberly taught my daughter Jenna to ride and then sold us Elding, our 1st Icelandic, in 2001. Thinking that Jenna's interest in riding might wane over time I decided to take lessons too. I surprised myself by falling head over heels in love with riding her and had to buy my own Icelandic (Throstur) shortly thereafter. Our passion for our horses have provided us with a very special mother daughter bond. We now look forward to Jenna's visits home from college as opportunities to ride our Icelandics together.
